7-8th Grade Teams

Seventh and eighth grades are on one of two 7th-8th teams, Anna/Sam’s Team or Melanie/Janet’s Team. Each student has the same teacher for first period for two years, and rotates among the other three teachers on that team for core classes (social studies, language arts, science).

7-8th Grade Classes

7/8 team curriculum is on a two-year cycle. Each student has a daily math class, P.E. and one or two exploratory classes. Exploratory classes include world language, art, music, media literacy and student government, and drama.

Students in four homerooms in each team will alternate 2 different units each quarter and four homerooms in each team will be mixed up for unit classes. It is important not to fall behind in a nine week unit.
