6th Grade Team

The 6th grade team has four core teachers who specialize in teaching sixth grade learners. Students receive additional support from Inclusion Teachers.

Four Homeroom teachers allow for smaller Homerooms in this transition year. Students rotate through four unit classes. Students also have a math class daily and PE/Health daily (for one semester), as well as an exploratory (also for one per semester).

6th Grade Classes

During a school year, 6th grade students will take a full year of Social Studies/Communications, Math, Reading/Writing Workshop and Science, and one semester of Physical Education/Heatlh, plus exploratory class. The choice for 6th grade students are limited to the exploratory classes offered during 5th and 6th period time slot only and will exchange at the semester with Physical Education or vise versa.
