Dear Incoming Salmon Bay Parents and Families,
Welcome to Salmon Bay! We are always excited to welcome new families to our school and we are thrilled that you will be joining us this fall. Parents and guardians are an important part of our community and we look forward to getting to know you and your family throughout this year.
As the leaders of Salmon Bay’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), we’d like to encourage you to join us for one of our upcoming welcome events listed below. It’s our chance to say hello, answer initial questions and introduce you to other families who have also selected Salmon Bay.
Welcome for Kindergarten Families......Wednesday, May 8th at 6:30 p.m.
Welcome for 6th Grade Families…...Monday, May 13th at 7 p.m.
In addition to attending a parent social, we invite you to explore our website or “like” our Facebook page. We do our best to post important information and announcements there. And you are always welcome to contact either of us for additional information. We love talking about our school!
Our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is a great way to meet people and find out what is happening within our community. As a Salmon Bay parent or guardian, you are automatically a member and we look forward to seeing you at any of the monthly PTO meetings you can attend. Of course, there are countless other ways to support our school, whether you have time during the days, on evenings or weekends, or all of the above. In the coming months, you’ll meet our wonderful elementary and middle school volunteer coordinators who can help you figure out which volunteer opportunities work best for you and your family.
We are really proud of the community we’ve built together at Salmon Bay. From the talented educators and administrators to our dedicated parents and volunteers, it takes all of us working together to create the rich and nurturing environment we value for our kids. We hope you and your family enjoy being a part of this community. We certainly look forward to welcoming and meeting you.

Friends of Salmon Bay (FOSB)
Salmon Bay's Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) is called Friends of Salmon Bay, or FOSB. All adult members of the community are automatically members, and all are welcome to attend meetings and other events.
