We would like to welcome the teachers back to the upcoming school year with some world famous SB parent  hospitality.  
The teachers first official day together as a staff starts tomorrow and continues most of the week.

Would you like to help?  Here is what we need.

Date;  Tuesday August 31st
Time;  3 times are available

• 7:15       Early morning treat drop off - Coffee, juice, baked items
• 10:00    Mid morning, keep you going, break food -  Fruits, breads, cheeses, proteins, salads, beverages
• 12:30      Clean up

Where:  Norine Gann LIbrary - 2nd floor - in the back room

Join us Wednesday 5/26 for our Elementary Band Concert, and/or Thursday 5/27 for our Middle school Band Concert, both at 7:00 PM in the stage area.  This is your chance to watch and listen to the spring time talent of our instrumental and marimba program.   They sound terrific. 

Come listen and learn tonight at the combined Annual Parent Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria.  We will open the discussion about our new playground options, review our annual budget, share our successes of the year and of course, enjoy a dandy baked good.  Hope to see you tonight.

6th GRADE MATH NIGHT!  TONIGHT!!  Presented by our very own 6^th grade math teacher – Jon Olver!  This night is primarily for parents of 5^th & 6^th graders. He will go over the math program at Salmon Bay, what parents can do to help, demo part of a lesson, AND still have time for questions!  Come learn about math at Salmon Bay in Jon’s classroom – room – 211 at 7pm!!!  And shop at the Secret Garden Bookfair in the library!!!

Don't miss the last two performances of The Wizard of Oz this Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday at 2:00. The show is free but reservations need to be made at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/B6QPNG6.
