Please note that we have cancelled the Dec 11 performance of our new Glee Club. We are also changing the focus of our Dec. 10 performance (that's Friday night, 7pm) to karaoke - as that is (mostly) what we will be doing.
This is a first year for Glee Club and, now that I have actually seen the tv show, it is safe to say that we are NOT a glee club in the popular sense: we are simply a collection of singers and dancers who would like the opportunity to sing and dance some more. Most of us have stage fright and need to work through that. Some of us can't make it to rehearsals and need to work that out. Some of us are simply not ready to sing harmonies so we need to work that out too. And we don't really have musicians to work with, so... karaoke it is.
That said... there is some wonderful talent with lots of potential! Please come to enjoy the show and support our budding performers. G.
