Salmon Bay Auction
Dear Salmon Bay Families -
10 Reasons I hope to see you Saturday, Jan 30th at the Auction:
1. I can't wait to see you in your super-hero outfit! (Of course to me, as a Salmon Bay parent, you are already a super-hero)!
2. I want to stake out the yummy dessert you are bringing for the Dessert Auction! (this is my favorite place to spend big money)!
3. Same thing for the pot-luck dinner - a Salmon Bay pot-luck is not just any pot-luck!
4. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you in the same room - such energy!
5. I want to test my self-restraint: Can I hold off on bidding for one of the class projects, I love them all!
6. I want to be surprised by yet another of your unkown/unsung talents...I always find Salmon Bay parents are creative in ways I never knew about.
7. I want to urge you to contribute, large or small, but to feel part of a great group of committed educators and families!
8. I want to see how well you do in an unannounced Fire Drill at about 8:30 (just kidding)!
9. I want to impress you with the need, especially this year, to support the public schools.
10. I want time to just laugh and chat...a chance I don't have nearly often enough, with each and every one of you!
